With our holiday lighting service, you have nothing to worry about. We handle everything from beginning to end so that you can enjoy the most wonderful time of year with your family. Not only can we curate a festive holiday display using commercial-grade lighting, lively displays, and tree, shrub, and garden illuminations, but we’ll also take the display down safely and promptly after the holiday is over. No more worrying about burnt-out bulbs, tangled wires, or fading lights–they’ll be quality-checked and stored safely with us until you’re ready for us to put them back up the next season!

How Our Christmas and Holiday Light Installation Works

With prices starting at $1000, our custom Christmas and holiday lighting services are designed and installed on your schedule, from October through mid-December.

Design – All of our Christmas and holiday light installers offer a free estimate and design consultation. We will be happy to discuss your ideas and our expert designers can provide additional input as well. We will give you an exact price of what it will cost to decorate your home, and then we’ll get you on our installation schedule right then!

Installation – Our Christmas and holiday light installers are professional and efficient, ensuring that every aspect of your lighting installation is done to your satisfaction. Unlike most other companies, Kraus Remodeling employs licensed professionals with experience navigating and installing roofs and gutters safely and carefully. Commercial grade materials, installed by expert and experienced professionals, ensure a safe and reliable display that is responsibly installed and removed. 

Maintenance – If you should ever discover that lights have burnt out or are not working properly, give us a call. We’ll happily come out to replace lights or make adjustments. Maintenance service is included with each installation at no additional charge. The holidays come with a lot of things to juggle, but we don’t want your lights to be one of them!

Take down – Just because the holiday season comes to an end, doesn’t mean our service does! Safe and careful takedown is included in your lighting package, and we will schedule your takedown with you at the time of booking. 

Storage – Once we have taken down your Christmas lights, we’ll pack them away properly and store them in our dry storage facility after performing an annual quality check. We’ll take on the clutter so you don’t have to!

    We'll install commercial grade lights, custom cut and fitted for perfection on your home.  Our LED lights require minimal electricity, and we cover any maintenance on them so it's one less thing you have to worry about.


    We also offer greenery like garland and wreaths, mini LED bulbs for trees & shrubs, and even specialty lighting decor for added festivity. 

  • How much does Christmas and holiday lights cost to have installed?

    The cost of installing holiday lights for Christmas, Halloween, etc., varies depending on the size, design and complexity of your installation. Our prices start at $800 for custom Christmas and holiday lighting services designed, installed, taken down, and stored. Our installations typically range from October through mid-December.

  • How long does a Christmas or holiday light installation take?

    Our small crew can install most holiday light displays in less than a day. Larger or more elaborate displays may require a bigger team or take several days to complete.

  • Do you tip light installers?

    You can tip your Christmas light installers 10% to 20% of the project price. Installers don’t expect a tip, though it’s always appreciated. After all, hiring someone to put up your Christmas lights frees up more of your time to make this holiday even more magical.

  • What if a bulb goes out?

    Our premium installation packages always include maintenance on your Christmas light bulbs.  If a bulb goes out, we'll be there to fix it immediately.  When we say we don't want you to have to worry about your lights, we mean it!  Our workmanship with our light installation is held to the same standards as the rest of our service, and they're very high.

  • Are you going to drill or put holes in my home?

    No!  Not unless we're doing a permanent installation, and even then it will be done with the care & expertise we're known for as remodelers.  Otherwise, our Christmas light installations are all done using non-invasive methods.  No nails, permanent adhesives, screws, or staples will be used in the process.
